From the Poor Clare Colettines TMD ~ THE DIVINE HEART

Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

Dear Little hearts,

At the beginning of this new series you may perhaps wonder why you are called, “The Little Hearts?”

It is simple, each of you are a unique reflection of God’s great love, each of you are precious to the Lord, each of you are LOVED by Him. By addressing you in such a way it reminds us, and should remind you that you are all Gods dwelling place, God lives within you.

And we love you too, you may say, ” but the sisters don’t know me, how can they love me?”

Again the answer is simple and deeply sincere, love is not a feeling it is a beautiful movement, act of our will, and we will the good, the better part, for each and everyone of you.

Ask God to draw you deeper into his GREAT HEART, place yourself within his heart…. and listen!….. listen! then ask God what is in his heart and who is in his heart!

And let our hearts speak to His heart

Please allow St. Paul of the Cross to be an example to you as you embrace your cross today.

“When you feel the assaults of passion and anger, then is the time to be silent as Jesus was silent in the midst of His ignominies and sufferings.”

“Entrust yourself entirely to God. He is a Father, and a most loving Father at that, who would rather let heaven and earth collapse than abandon anyone who trusted in him.” ~ St. Paul of the Cross

Prayer for Doctors to St. Luke

Good Saint Luke,

we are told that before you met our dear Lord

and became a follower of His

and a writer of His Gospel,

you were a doctor.

We beg you this day

to bless and help and protect our doctor.

Obtain for him the graces he most needs

to do his work well and serve God generously.

Help him to be strong and gentle,

prudent and charitable,

understanding and self-sacrificing.

Give him great skill in the care of our bodies,

so that, blessed with physical strength and health,

we may more faithfully perform our daily tasks.

Help us all, good Saint Luke,

to imitate very closely the life

and virtues of our Blessed Mother Mary,

about whom you wrote so beautifully,

and of Him whom she bore into this world,

Jesus Christ our Lord and our God,

who lives and is King for ever and ever.

Amen.

Cardinals invite world to join Pope in prayer vigil for unborn :: Catholic News Agency (CNA)

.- To encourage a commitment and witness within the Church to love and life, a prayer initiative to be led by Pope Benedict XVI is being promoted by a pair of cardinals. All bishops of the world are being asked to invite the faithful to pray for the unborn during the prayerful season before Christmas.

On Nov. 27, to mark the start of Advent, Pope Benedict will preside over first vespers in St. Peter’s Basilica as is customary. According to a note from Vatican spokesman, Fr. Federico Lombardi, however, this will take place within a broader scope than usual.

Vespers will be included in Sunday’s “vigil for nascent life,” in light of the beginning of Advent and the proximity of the Lord’s Nativity. read more

Please don’t miss November 27th!

Dear Family,

This is so exciting to me to find that Our Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, is planning a great event in the Catholic Church to celebrate the life of the unborn on the feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Wow, I can not express just how exciting this is… it touches my heart most especially because of the chaplet of Hannah’s Tears and how God is hearing the cries of His faithful. We are being heard, we are not alone.

Please take the next 40 days or so and try to pray for all that we will be celebrating with the Bishops and other Religious Order Priests that will be having Mass in union with our Holy Father Benedict. This is such an answer to our prayers! You will not want to miss this celebration as it begins the first weekend of Advent, let us prepare our hearts, minds and souls to receive what God has prepared for us within the Church.

Miracles beyond our understanding are continuing to unfold let us remain in the care of Our Lord and His Church. Prepare for a holy confession before November 27 and be a part of this beautiful Mass, I know the Lord has blessings He will pour upon you and your spouse this very day.

God Bless You,
Hannah’s Tears Ministry

Special Devotions ~ Patrons for those struggling with infertility…extra prayers in the comment section.

Do you see how good God is to us? God has given us two very strong women, to help us through our times of great struggle. If you take the time to study the lives of these women, it was not easy, but God did bless them as He will also bless you. God has a special plan for your life, “seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be open” Matthew 7:7. This is something that goes through my own heart many times a day, do not be troubled by the times of struggle there is a great purpose and mercy, God has a plan and it is good. Remain close to Our Lord in the sacraments of the Catholic Church and he will guide you as you seek Him.

O glorious St. Ann,
you are filled with compassion
for those who invoke you
and with love for those who suffer!
Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles,
I cast myself at your feet and humbly beg of you
to take the present intention
which I recommend to you in your special care.

Please recommend it to your daughter,
the Blessed Virgin Mary, and place it before
the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it
to a happy issue. Continue to intercede for me
until my request is granted. But, above all,
obtain for me the grace one day to see my God
face to face, and with you and Mary
and all the saints to praise and bless Him for all eternity.
Amen.

Our Father, . . . Hail Mary . . .

O Jesus, Holy Mary, St. Ann,

help me now and at the hour of my death.

Good St. Ann, intercede for me.

(especially under her title of Maria Bambina)
Hail, Infant Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee,
blessed art thou forever,
and blessed are thy holy parents
Joachim and Ann,
of whom thou wast
miraculously born.
Mother of God, intercede for us.

Serving the poor is to be preferred above all things

Even though the poor are often rough and unrefined, we must not judge them from external appearances nor from the mental gifts they seem to have received. On the contrary, if you consider the poor in the light of faith, then you will observe that they are taking the place of the Son of God who chose to be poor.

Although in his passion he almost lost the appearance of a man and was considered a fool by the Gentiles and a stumbling block by the Jews, he showed them that his mission was to preach to the poor: He sent me to preach the good news to the poor. We also ought to have this same spirit and imitate Christ’s actions, that is, we must take care of the poor, console them, help them, support their cause.

Since Christ willed to be born poor, he chose for himself disciples who were poor. He made himself the servant of the poor and shared their poverty. He went so far as to say that he would consider every deed which either helps or harms the poor as done for or against himself. Since God surely loves the poor, he also loves those who love the poor. For when one person holds another dear, he also includes in his affection anyone who loves or serves the one he loves. That is why we hope that God will love us for the sake of the poor. So when we visit the poor and needy, we try to understand the poor and weak. We sympathise with them so fully that we can echo Paul’s words: I have become all things to all men. Therefore, we must try to be stirred by our neighbours’ worries and distress. We must beg God to pour into our hearts sentiments of pity and compassion and to fill them again and again with these dispositions.

It is our duty to prefer the service of the poor to everything else and to offer such service as quickly as possible. If a needy person requires medicine or other help during prayer time, do whatever has to be done with peace of mind. Offer the deed to God as your prayer. Do not become upset or feel guilty because you interrupted your prayer to serve the poor. God is not neglected if you leave him for such service. One of God’s works is merely interrupted so that another can be carried out. So when you leave prayer to serve some poor person, remember that this very service is performed for God. Charity is certainly greater than any rule. Moreover, all rules must lead to charity. Since she is a noble mistress, we must do whatever she commands. With renewed devotion, then, we must serve the poor, especially outcasts and beggars. They have been given to us as our masters and patrons.
