Praying today in a special way for those struggling with infertility. May St. Hannah and St Juan Diego intercede for us in a special way on their feast days.
Shared from Fr. David Abernathy, Pittsburgh Oratory on Facebook.
“Teach me, my Lord, to be kind and gentle in all the events of my life; in disappointments, in the thoughtlessness of others, in the insincerity of those I trusted. Let me forget myself, so that I may enjoy the happiness of others. Let me always hide my little pains and heartaches so that I may be the only one to suffer from them. Teach me to allow suffering to make me patient, not irritable; that it may make me broad in my forgiveness, not narrow or proud or overbearing. May no one be less good for having come within my influence; no one less pure, less true, less kind, less noble, for having been a fellow traveler with me, on our journey towards Eternal Life..”
1Samuel 2:
5 They that were full before have hired out themselves for bread: and the hungry are filled, so that the barren hath borne many: and she that had many children is weakened.6 The Lord killeth and maketh alive, he bringeth down to hell and bringeth back again.7 The Lord maketh poor and maketh rich, he humbleth and he exalteth.
8 He raiseth up the needy from the dust, and lifteth up the poor from the dunghill: that he may sit with princes, and hold the throne of glory. For the poles of the earth are the Lord’s, and upon them he hath set the world.
9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness, because no man shall prevail by his own strength.
10 The adversaries of the Lord shall fear him: and upon them shall he thunder in the heavens. The Lord shall judge the ends of the earth, and he shall give empire to his king, and shall exalt the horn of his Christ.

Hannah’s Tears is a vehicle for the practices of the Spiritual Works of Mercy. We were founded in the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio, on September 15, 2004, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. We are a contemplative ministry, supporting one another in the present moment on the way of the cross as we meet each-other along the path of life.
Simon of Cyrene is our example as he helped Jesus carry His cross we too are here to help YOU. We are called to bring support to those Our Lord sends on the path of sorrow. We take all those suffering and place their intentions with Jesus at the foot of the altar where HE is ever present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. We are to be imitators of St. Hannah of the old testament as she placed her trust in God alone, St. Simon of Cyrene as we help all those God sends our way along the journey of life and Our Blessed Mother who united her will to God’s perfect plan.
My “yes” to God the Father must be united to His will, He has a perfect plan for my life help me to unite my cross to HIS. Amen
We offer prayer support and comfort to the brokenhearted who suffer the pains of infertility at any stage of life, difficult pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, the loss of a child and the adoption process. This apostolate intercedes for Catholic doctors, nurses, and their supportive personnel. We also serve as a vehicle of education in the proper channels of Catholic fertility practices as well as offering information resources to those seeking adoption and fertility care. [2 Cor.1:3-5]
We’re here to let you know the Church has always been here for you and always will be!
The laity’s Mission is to pray for the CHURCH and the FAMILY.
