Reflection

When we struggle with isolation, pain or chronic illness, the temptation is to despair, we MUST take our guardian angel by the hand and offer everything we have to Jesus. He will give us the strength that we need, JESUS never leaves us alone.. HE is listening pray especially when you want to hide away.

Job 12:7-10

7 “But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
or let the fish in the sea inform you.
9 Which of all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
10 In his hand is the life of every creature
and the breath of all mankind.

Dear Little hearts,

There is great wisdom in being obedient to Gods word, it will bear fruit. When we are exhorted in scripture to do something it is not enough just to read the words but somehow we have to apply it, see its place in our lives, no matter how obscure the text may be.

This is what I did yesterday after sending out these readings to you. I said OK Lord, let’s do this!!! So I asked the animals in prayer to teach me, and what do their lives and existence say?… That the heavenly Father is the great provider that he supplies his creatures needs, that he blesses them and his intention is that the species increase, unlike the human species which all too often and says no to bringing forth life. The animals can teach us much about how to rear and train the young, how to be good attentive parents.

The birds?? They are a song in the heavens and a song on earth, they tell us that we were created to be free, to enjoy the spaces God has given us… to fly in the Spirit and to rejoice in the uniqueness of the variety of our being and theirs.

The fish and creatures can also teach us much, they reveal to the abundance and variety, some are solo, but many see the value and strength of ‘community’ or working together, of being together for mutual protection, shoals of fish are a magnificent sight to behold and so and much more is the human family when it works together.

In the message version we read:

“Put your ear to the earth- learn the basics”….. this can say so many, many things, the importance and the place of the small, the minute in Gods plan, it reminds us that we are dust and to dust we shall return.

Thank you Gods Word, it is so humbling to see ourselves in this GREAT PICTURE and sermon of creation.

Job 12:7-12 The Message

7-12 “But ask the animals what they think—let them teach you;
let the birds tell you what’s going on.

Put your ear to the earth—learn the basics.
Listen—the fish in the ocean will tell you their stories.
Isn’t it clear that they all know and agree
that God is sovereign, that he holds all things in his hand—
Every living soul, yes,
every breathing creature?

 “Faith and Perseverance”
Novena for Life – Saints Anne & Joachim
Parents of Mary
Grandparents of Jesus

The Novena Prayer:
Good parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary, grandparents of our Savior, Jesus Christ, When life seems barren, help us to trust in God’s mercy. When we are confused, help us to find the way to God.

When we are lost in the desert, lead us to those whom God has called us to love.

When our marriage seems lifeless, show us the eternal youth of the Lord.
When we are selfish, teach us to cling only to that which lasts.

When we are afraid, help us to trust in God.

When we are ashamed, remind us that we are God’s children.
When we sin, lead us to do God’s will.
You who know God’s will for husband and wife, help us to live chastely.

Replenished by His Grace

There are times we can feel like a dry weary land without water, yet when we cry out to the Lord in desperation, He hears our cry. I’m only here to tell you “NEVER” give up on God’s grace and mercy, by HIS GRACE he is giving so much MERCY.

Something I believe the Holy Spirit sent this morning is this beautiful article about the growth of two holy souls united in matrimony, given the gift of suffering, only to find the pearl of great price. Never be afraid of the cross, Jesus is with you, follow Him and His Church. I pray Chiara blesses and brings you an abundance of encouragement. Be very Blessed!

Chiara Corbella a husband’s reflection

“If you accept what is good, why not accept what is bad?”; so it is written. When Jesus is on the Cross, the only person who speaks to Him is another person who, like Him, is on the cross.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Thou who, with special mercy, look upon those clothed in thy beloved Habit, cast a glance of pity upon me. Fortify my weakness with thy strength; enlighten the darkness of my mind with thy wisdom; increase my faith, hope and charity. Assist me during life, console me by thy presence at my death, and present me to the August trinity as thy devoted child, that I may bless thee for all eternity in Paradise. Amen.
