A simple soul trying to follow the will of God through the teachings of the Catholic Church and praying for those God sends on the journey of life one day at a time. Called to be a companion a long the way of the Cross to pray and bring hope. God has blessed me through this journey as a lay Carmelite, also through the cross of secondary infertility, chronic illness and serving each beautiful soul the Good Shepherd sends to this ministry. As I continue to seek our Lord's holy will I find joy and healing through serving HIM and seeking HIM. Catholic Infertility & Difficult Pregnancies

Please know that we are here for you, but as someone just wrote us recently she feels very alone in her struggle and feels that there is not much in the way of support. That is truly understood by all of us, but I want people to know that there is Catholic support out there in the world of suffering, here are a few that I’ve found besides our apostolate. Remember we are not alone in our beautiful Catholic Faith, Our Lord has many servants.

Hi everyone, it is a wonderful day! Spring is in the air and April 1st is finally here… It is a season of Hope. Soon we will have spring flowers and a feeling of newness in the air.

Heidi Saxton, sent us a prayer for couples that want to adopt. If anyone feels like God is calling them to this vocation call, keep on praying. Our Lord will show you a way where it sometimes seems impossible. Trust in Him!!!

Trust In God’s Mercy

Gracious Father, I thank you for the mercy you have shown in forgiving my sins and for the peace that comes from being reconciled with you and with your Church. O God, you are faithful, and you never abandon those who hope in you. I know that my redemption from sin and death has been purchased at the cost of your Son’s blood. In return for this priceless gift, I resolve today to renew my trust in your unfailing mercy. In times of doubt, when painful memories of past sins threaten to destroy the peace you have given, let the power of your Holy Spirit cast out all self-condemnation and give me greater confidence in your word of pardon. Teach me to encourage others so they, too, may seek your tender compassion and come to know your peace, which nothing can take away. I pray this in the name of Jesus, your Son, in whom you have restored me to life. Amen.

My Lord, the baby is dead!

Why, my Lord—dare I ask why? It will not hear the whisper of the wind or see the beauty of its parents’ face—it will not see the beauty of Your creation or the flame of a sunrise. Why, my Lord?

“Why, My child—do you ask ‘why’? Well, I will tell you why.

You see, the child lives. Instead of the wind he hears the sound of angels singing before My throne. Instead of the beauty that passes he sees everlasting Beauty—he sees My face. He was created and lived a short time so the image of his parents imprinted on his face may stand before Me as their personal intercessor. He knows secrets of heaven unknown to men on earth. He laughs with a special joy that only the innocent possess. My ways are not the ways of man. I create for My Kingdom and each creature fills a place in that Kingdom that could not be filled by another. He was created for My joy and his parents’ merits. He has never seen pain or sin. He has never felt hunger or pain. I breathed a soul into a seed, made it grow and called it forth.”

I am humbled before you, my Lord, for questioning Your wisdom, goodness, and love. I speak as a fool—forgive me. I acknowledge Your sovereign rights over life and death. I thank You for the life that began for so short a time to enjoy so long an Eternity.

Prayer for the Adoption of a Child
O Lord our God, who through Your beloved Child, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Grace of Your All-holy Spirit, called us children of God through adoption, and said, I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to me a Son. Do You, the same King, loving God, look down from Your holy dwelling-place on high, upon these Your servants, (mother, father) and unite their natures which you have begotten separate from one another according to the flesh, through Your Holy Spirit, into parents (mother, father) and (son, daughter). Confirm them in Your love; bind them through Your benediction; bless them to Your great glory; strengthen them in Your faith; preserve them always and renounce them not for that which proceeds from their lips. Be Mediator for their promises, that their love which they have confessed to You be not torn asunder even to the evening of their lives; grant that they may be kept sincerely alive in You, our only Living and True God, and grant to them to become heirs of Your Kingdom, for to You is due all glory: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages.
