Reminder

Good morning !

Just wanted to remind you one more time that “Barren and Blessed” will be airing at 10:00 A.M. EST on E.W.T.N. or try watching “The Abundant Life” on line.

If you haven’t had a chance to view this interview please take time to watch it today, or you can order it through Women of Grace. Please let us know your thoughts and how this interview has helped you. This blog site is meant to support you and where you are today as you bear your cross let us take a moment and unite it with Jesus on the cross. Remember it is in uniting your cross with Jesus that the weight of your cross becomes lighter and sometimes it is in sharing the cross with those who understand that you are freed from your burdens.

Peace and blessings for a beautiful day!

“Barren and Blessed”

I pray that you all had a chance to watch EWTN last night called “Barren and Blessed”. What a truly beautiful interview! Living His Life Abundantly has brought about the gift of discussion on how Catholic couples endure infertility and how they get through the journey.

If you are unable to view EWTN and would like a copy of the DVD for only $9.98, please click on the title “Barren and Blessed: The Plight of Infertility” . This was an interview you don’t want to miss.

Thank you Kristy for your witness and bravery!!!

We at Hannah’s Tears have posted Karl’s book in the past called “Bearing the Unbearable” . This is a wonderful resource for personal use or using in a support group. Please remember all the suffering that you go through God is using these moments for his greater good. We don’t always see the fruits but as we continue to place our suffering at the foot of the cross he will reward you greatly! These are times of great GRACE, keep trusting what God has in store for you and your spouse as you continue to seek His holy will. Our spiritual fertility is the greater gift let us seek HIM always.

2379 The Gospel shows that physical sterility is not an absolute evil. Spouses who still suffer from infertility after exhausting legitimate medical procedures should unite themselves with the Lord’s Cross, the source of all spiritual fecundity.

EWTN show on Infertility

I had the undeserved privilege of flying to EWTN to appear on Johnette Benkovic’s show, The Abundant Life. Although the show was taped in November, it will air next week. The president of the Catholic Medical Association and an author also appeared on the show with me, so you don’t have to endure listening to my voice the whole time! Ha ha ha.

The episode is called “Barren and Blessed: The Plight of Infertility” (Program #447) The Abundant Life airs on EWTN, the global Catholic Network. If you have satellite TV, you can watch it through your provider. If you don’t have satellite, you can catch the episode online live at http://www.ewtn.com/tv/index.asp Click on the “now showing” box on the right, ensuring that the “U.S.” tab is selected. Tuesday Feb. 3rd: 4:00 am EST (if you’re awake?!?!)
Wednesday Feb. 4th: 2:00pm EST
Friday Feb. 6th: 10:00am EST

The program was definitely a grace-filled experience. Infertility is a seldom-mentioned topic, so I hope the program reaches many women in the same plight. Let me know what you think of the show; I’m the one in a lavender blouse. 🙂

January 25 ~ Daily Grace Lines

These words of reflection from Women of Grace seem to go along with Fr. Jim’s words posted Sunday, January 25. I pray they give you strength and encouragement for a day filled with peace and hope for God’s miracles working in your life today.

God bless your Hannah’s Tears Intercessor.

*Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul

“I am content with weakness, with mistreatment, with distress, with persecutions, and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for when I am powerless, it is then that I am strong.

2 Corinthians12:10

Dear St. Paul,

I wish I could say that I am content with weakness,
mistreatment, distress, persecution, and difficulties,
but that is not the case. All too often I complain at the
least struggle or trial. Pray for me that I obtain the
grace I need to endure all things for the sake of Christ.
Help me to see that when I am most powerless, Christ
can be all in all of me if I surrender my suffering to Him.
May the strength of Christ fill me and may I embrace
the cross with valor and conviction. Amen
