The Fifth Sorrow Mary at the Foot of the Cross

The Fifth Sorrow

5. The Crucifixion: “They crucified Him. Now there stood by the cross of Jesus, His Mother. When Jesus therefore had seen His Mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, He saith to His Mother: Woman: behold thy son. After that he saith to the disciple: Behold thy Mother.” – John XIX, l8-25-27.

Dear Little hearts,

This is our vocation, this is where too we are called at some point or another in our lives, through our own sufferings, the suffering of others and through the sufferings of those dear to us.

We all are called to the foot of the Cross, Mary was faithful until the end, and that is the truest sign of love, the fidelity which believes all things, endures all things, hopes all things.

At the foot of our cross, there too is MARY, our Mother praying with us. God gave us the greatest gift we could ever receive as he hung dying… A MOTHER…. his almost last giving, was his greatest treasure his Immaculate and Holy Mother, cherish her, love her, and entrust to her your all!
