Poor Clare Colettines Email Share – “Little Hearts 5”

…We teach what scripture calls; the things that no eye has seen, and no ear has heard, things beyond the mind of man, all that God has prepared for those who love him.

These are the very things that God has revealed to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit reaches the depths of everything, even the depths of God. (2 Cor.

Dear Little Hearts,

Today we look at the forthcoming Sundays second lesson, and there is no doubt about it that it is one of the most beautiful, alluring verses in the whole of St Paul’s letters.

…the things that no eye has seen, and no ear has heard, things beyond the mind of man, all that God has prepared for those who love him.

St Paul was a mystic and often reveals, intending it or not how profound his experience of the Lord had been. Paul knew that there was so much more that what one could visibly apprehend, he embraced totally the hidden realties and had, despite his sinfulness such hope and faith in the promises of God. Think upon this following verse, spend some time in prayer with it, what awaits us yet is beyond our wildest dreams…. And what we shall hear? Surely the overwhelming beauty and song of the angels and all the redeemed? A song of the most incredible harmony… a song without end glorifying God. Things our mind this side of the veil cannot even begin to imagine , in reality our minds are so limited, we may have great learning knowledge, facts and data, and yet in Gods scheme of things it is all as a grain of dust as there is so much more !!!

What God has prepared for us?? This is beyond us , it lies within the mystery, how GREAT IS OUR GOD! Love in its fullness and staggering beauty will be revealed to us and in that love we will live and move and have our being !!

A new world, a new life in God, thank you Father, we bless and praise you for your promises.

…the things that no eye has seen, and no ear has heard, things beyond the mind of man, all that God has prepared for those who love him.

Then we have in the same reading this amazing statement:

These are the very things that God has revealed to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit reaches the depths of everything, even the depths of God.

When you have deep concerns, struggles sufferings and find it difficult to pray, remember these words, that what you are not able to articulate, express, the good you desire for another, Gods Spirit already knows for he reads the very depths of your soul. Some people worry greatly when they cannot formulate prayers, or remember everyone they have promised to pray for, likewise, remember this verse, God sees your good intent, your good will in regard to others, He knows those whom you want to pray for and He knows them by name, just surrender all to Him in total trust.

The Complete second lesson.

We have a wisdom to offer those who have reached maturity: not a philosophy of our age, it is true, still less the masters of our age, which are coming to their end. The hidden wisdom of God which we teach in our mysteries is the wisdom that God predestined to be for our glory before the ages began. It is a wisdom that none of the masters of this age have ever known, or they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory; we teach what scripture calls; the things that no eye has seen, and no ear has heard, things beyond the mind of man, all that God has prepared for those who love him.

These are the very things that God has revealed to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit reaches the depths of everything, even the depths of God.

2 Cor: 2 6-10.
