I am currently trying to adopt a child from Africa (DR Congo). I feel this is my calling in life as I have had this desire since I was five years old. I am currently waiting for a transfer closer to home so I can make this dream a reality. Without it, I may never become a mom. Good day all, My husband and I have been married for 4 years and in August 2011 we lost our little one at 20 weeks pregnancy due to a syndrome called antiphospholipid syndrome. I also had a LEEP surgery to remove some abnormal cells from my cervix. We are now trying to conceive again and ask that you pray for us as it’s been the 3rd month we are going to be trying again.

My husband and I are currently 4wksbelongs pregnant after months of trying. He is in the military and away from home a lot. This makes conception difficult….currently the Doctor is unsure if our pregnancy is viable because our hcg levels are not rising and may be dropping. Please pray for us during this trying time. My husband and I got married on July 23, 2011 we have been trying to conceive since then. I been diagnosed with PCOS and my doctor prescribed me the first cycle of clomid. My husband and I have been praying to God to grant us with the miracle of a child. Tomorow I have an apointment to take my first progesterone blood test and have faith and high hopes that the first cycle of clomid worked and i become pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy. Please keep us in our prayers as I will be praying for all who are going through the same situations. With God’s faith everything is possible.

Please pray for my husband and I. We have been together 10 years and have tried to get pregnant all this time with no result. The doctors told us there was a million to one chance my husband could have children but I tested out okay. We began the adoption process through our state several years ago but our caseworker lost a slew of our paperwork and was fired. We left the agency and pursued insemination by donor which was expensive and unfortunately a waste of time. We have been saving to go with Catholic Charities to try adoption again but one thing after another has happened to us; most recently I lost my job and have had a lengthy hospitalization and upcoming surgery. I do believe in million to one chances- my cousin was barren and went to the shrine at Medjugorje and later had 3 children so I believe it is a matter of time. I know God will take care of our finances and other troubles at the moment but I would like prayer that however we have children, the wait would soon be over. Thank you and God’s will for all of your prayer requests.

I have reached a point in trying to have a child where I am feeling hopeless. I know that all things happen for a reason and perhaps it isn’t for me to know. I stumbled upon this site and decided it’s worth a shot to ask strangers to pray for not only me, but all the women in this heartbreaking position.
My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for the last 10 months. Several friends have become pregnant without trying, out of wedlock, without even wanting to be pregnant, etc. It’s very hard and many of them know what I’m going through with my husband and share details–especially the bad ones–about their pregnancies with me. This all weighs heavy on my heart and my faith has been tested.
So, if nothing ever comes of my trying to have a child, I pray that this pain and sadness of infertility goes away… for all those in this position.

Another request for prayers for conception and a happy pregnancy resulting in a healthy baby. My husband and I have been married for almost 3 years. He is 44 and I’m 37 – it has taken us all these years to find each other, and we have waited for a spouse who shared the same values and beliefs. In the meantime, I’ve watched the majority of my friends have child after child with little or no difficulty. We are committed to our faith and to the church and would be so grateful if God blessed us with a family of our own. I keep in my own prayers all those couples who are struggling to have families, I empathise and pray that God keeps them from despairing, and protects their relationships. We have to trust that His will be done, and that things will happen when the time is right and when it is His will. Let’s keep the prayers coming for each other.

Hi my name is Alyssa. I would like to ask for prayers for my mom. She and my dad had me when they were 16. After having me my mom was then later diagnosed with a heart condition which the doctors told her it was too risky to have another baby. My mom is now 32 years old and has been dying to have another little boy or girl. She hasn’t been feeling good lately and tonight I went with her to the store to get a pregnancy test. She will be taking the test in the morning. I pray to God that a miracle happens and I can have a little baby brother or sister but I also pray for my mommy because I love her more than anything in the world and I know how risky this is going to be. Please pray for my husband, unborn child and I. We are in the 6th week of our 3rd pregnancy, though the first two were not successful. My husband and I will be together 12 years this June and married for 3 this coming May. We have been actively trying for a baby for a year and a half. after several tests to both of us and a surgery for myself, the doctors say they cannot find a reason as to why we are not concieving. I find it hard to keep a happy and postive attitude when every single one of my girlfriends now has a child and some even pregnant with their second. Please keep my sister in your prayers. She has been trying to become pregnant for several months. She and her husband were married later in life so she is considered high risk due to her age.
