Pope asks bishops around the world to pray for the unborn Nov. 27
Pope Benedict XVI has asked the bishops of the world to lead efforts in their dioceses to pray for nascent life on Saturday, Nov. 27. The pope will celebrate a “Vigil for All Nascent Human Life,” – all unborn – coinciding with the evening prayer service before the First Sunday of Advent. The Holy Father has also requested that all bishops “preside in analogous celebrations involving the faithful.”
Bishop Michael O. Jackels will lead the vigil in the Diocese of Wichita at the St. Paul Parish/Newman Center at Wichita State University on Saturday, Nov. 27.
